Gorillas in the mist...

As spring is now upon us, I thought it only fitting to revisit the fall.  It was the day of my birthday celebration which called for a drive around some favorite neighborhoods in the city.  We feasted (with our eyes) on the gangly arms of bumbling trees lumbering through pea soup (fog).  And this is the result.

From a rooftop on the boulevard, to a tree house in the hills ~ and everything in between.  This is Hollywoodland.

The Salton Sea air

An adventurous day trip to The Salton Sea with Jacqueline.  

We discovered that although the fabled ghost towns were now just that, the vistas were stunning, featuring salty carcasses; gaseous horizons; and bones for sand.
